YOUR SAILING, WITH YOUR ASSISTANT

MarineVerse MCP

Sail more often. Learn, relax and race with your assistant. Find a way to start sailing, explore simulator practice, and read MarineVerse FAQs and app release notes without an account. Link your account when you want help with your own sailing progress, boats and races.

Connect to MarineVerse

For Claude, use the directory link below. For other assistants or manual setup, add a custom MCP connection using this server URL.

https://api.marineverse.com/mcp

Choose Streamable HTTP if your assistant asks for a connection type.

Getting-started links, FAQs, Sailing Club release notes, sailing club and school search, public feedback boards and the roadmap are available without a MarineVerse account. For personal features, sign in on www.marineverse.com and approve the connection when prompted. Your assistant may ask you to sign in during setup.

ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server. Name it MarineVerse and enter the server URL above. Configure OAuth authentication, review the connection notice, and select Create as a plugin.

Availability depends on your account and workspace policy.

You can also add the server URL above as a custom connector.

Install the full plugin in ChatGPT desktop / Codex

The MarineVerse plugin bundles the MCP connection with skills for learning to sail, finding clubs, reviewing your sailing and creating racing diagrams. In supported ChatGPT desktop clients, install it from the MarineVerse GitHub marketplace.

With the Codex CLI installed, add the marketplace from your terminal:

codex plugin marketplace add marineverse/marineverse-plugin

Restart the ChatGPT desktop app. In Work mode or Codex, open the Plugins Directory, choose the MarineVerse marketplace and install MarineVerse. Complete account linking if prompted, then start a new conversation.

This is a GitHub marketplace installation, separate from the public OpenAI directory. Availability depends on your client and workspace policy.

Connect only the MCP tools in Codex

If you prefer a direct connection without the bundled skills, add the server from your terminal:

codex mcp add marineverse --url https://api.marineverse.com/mcp

To link your MarineVerse account for personal features, run:

codex mcp login marineverse

MarineVerse sailing skills

The full plugin includes skills for beginner sailing guidance, sailing clubs, MarineVerse account workflows and shareable racing diagrams. Connecting only the MCP server does not automatically install these skills. For other skill-capable assistants, follow the setup instructions in the plugin repository.

Start with a question

“I want to learn to sail. Where can I start with MarineVerse?” “Find sailing clubs or schools in Melbourne.” “How can I practise racing in a sailing simulator?” “What changed in the latest MarineVerse Sailing Club update?” “Summarize my MarineVerse sailing progress.”

Explore public answers and learning resources first. With your account linked, review your profile, progress, sailing stats, Globe boats and races. You can also ask your assistant to change boat controls or contribute feedback, with your confirmation.

Knowledge base searches require an active MarineVerse membership.

More ways to sail with an agent
