Why MarineVerse?
My uncle had a sailboat. I never saw it, but knowing about it is probably what planted the seed of the sailing interest. I was raised on science fiction and was trying to get into VR even back in the '90s. I got pulled into other interests for a long time, but recently got a headset, and saw some chatter that MarineVerse was one of the better-quality experiences.
Sailing experience:
Never sailed. I've been watching videos on it for several years, though. I think I'm more interested in a cruising experience than a racing experience, though.
