Why MarineVerse?
I was a professional sailor, Licensed Captain by USCG, and a yacht racer for many years. I owned a boat dealership, selling new, used and brokerage vessels; with a retail and repair store. I have officiated many championships and protest committees. I regularly supplied Committee Boats, Chase Boats and qualified personnel to put aboard them. I have actually been heavily involved with the first Ultimate Yacht Race, and the Olympic Sailboatd Team, and had a VP aboard during a Mayors Cup race aboard a new 40 ft boat I was campaigning to establish it’s PHRF for a future race to Vera Cruz. Then so many national and world championships that even back then I couldn’t remember them all. This may sound exaggerated, but even to me it’s amazing and I still haven’t covered so much.
Sailing experience:
Even experienced sailors eyes glaze over when They learn how much sailing I have done professionally. But I haven’t sailed much recently. Sailing was my job/occupation.
